Mollie LeVeque

Writer, Editor, and Consultant in the United States

Once upon a time, as a fully-funded PhD researcher, I had every intention of becoming an archivist or a public historian in general. Then Brexit happened, alas.

My monograph focused on the Storyville Portraits was published with Bloomsbury Academic in 2019, which may be why you've found this page!

These days, I am an editor and content consultant. I also write queer historical fiction, among other things.

My strengths include helping people's written and creative work become its clearest, listening without judging, and creative problem solving. Seriously, very little shocks me… one time, a beetle crawled into my ear while I was asleep in my apartment in Chicago. that type of thing really will humble you and keep you curious.
