Food nourishes our bodies and our souls, brings people together and defines us culturally and individually. Molly’s appreciation for food extends beyond the farm and table, to the impact that it has on the body and psyche. As a registered dietitian trained in mental health counseling, she motivates her clients to develop a healthy relationship with food and their bodies.

Raised in a farming community in Indiana, Molly grew up watching her father grow and harvest the family’s food and prepare homemade meals for her family. Her appreciation & love of food began at a young age, leading her to pursue it as a career.

Molly works in varying capacities as a dietitian, nutritionist and counselor. Her career began working with the HIV community in Chicago in conjunction with an integrated private practice specializing in endocrinology and chronic illness. From there, she moved into a supervisory role at a Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) agency, targeting underserved populations in Chicago. Following her time at WIC, she transitioned into acute and outpatient care as a clinical dietitian at Rush Northshore Medical Center in Chicago. During this time she also created a personal chef business, catering to her client's individual needs. Molly chose to take a break from working full time in 2010 to pursue a master's degree in Nutrition and Clinical Health Psychology at Bastyr University in Seattle, Washington. This allowed her to formally refine her counseling skills and to focus specifically on the role of psychology on people's relationship with food, motivating behavior change and studying the impact of one's diet on mental health. Molly supports educating people throughout all life stages about food, nutrition, cooking and healthy body image development, crucial to cultivating a healthy relationship with food.
