About Me
Hola! My name is Moumita Momen Tiba. I'm currently a senior at John Bowne High School. I immigrated to NYC in 2014 at the age of 9.
I plan to have a career in the designing/ architecture industry. This is a big dream for because I believe that I'm a very creative person. I want to be able to express my creativity or even my feelings through different designs or art.
I always love to experiment with different types of food and I love baking. I enjoy doing my makeup because It allows me time for myself and gives me peace.
I wear a religious headscarf called the Hijab. It wasn't always easy for me due to my fear of people judging me for looking different. But fortunately, my development of self-love allows me to be confident in my choices and drift away from negativity.
