Momoh Sekou Dudu is originally from the nation of Liberia in West Africa. He has lived in the United States since the fall of 1997. He is the author of the memoir 'Harrowing December' (2014) which chronicles his struggles and triumphs as a refugee of the long-running Liberian civil war and the chapbook of poetry: 'When The Mind Soars'.

At present, he is finishing his debut novel, 'Forgotten Legacy' which he hopes to publish in the fall of 2016.
