Mohamed Murad is a CEO of a Family-Owned Businesses, focusing in Strategy and Future Planning. As part of a lifetime of catalyzing people and resources, Mohamed is also a social entrepreneur with a vision to build a better future for humanity. It started back in 2009 with determination and willpower to turn mere dreams to reality and resulted in him transforming communities as a philanthropist, activist, and nonprofit entrepreneur.
Mohamed’s belief that skillful and enthusiastic youth will pave the way to a unique, innovative, and productive society is what led him to lay the foundations of one of Yemen’s most known civil society organizations, Hemmat Shabab Foundation for Development (www.hemmatshabab.org). Under his leadership, Hemmat Shabab benefits the community by empowering youth and offering services to low-income families, among other socially responsible objectives.
Mohamed served as member of the Board of Directors of the Yemeni Business Club (www.ybc-yemen.com), an organization that functions as a main sub Yemen’s Chamber of Commerce. During that period, he helped in co-founding the Yemeni Institute for Directors (www.yiod-ye.com). Mohamed is also part of TED community and is the organizer of TEDxTaiz - Yemen.
