I love writing so much I’ve completed three novels and now on a fourth. Although I don't have a lit agent there's always hope that someone will believe in the stories I tell and take a chance on representing me.

My protagonists are often girls and women who face hardships and difficult choices. Themes and subjects deal with incarceration, domestic violence, immigration, love, loss, family, hope, and friendship.

My message is no matter how low we go, women have reserves of strength to carry us through the challenges.

When I'm not writing in the corner of my bedroom, I'm creating poetry, reading, or driving Señora Daisy (my mom) to appointments. I taste-test coffee, dark chocolate, and red wine.
