Ann Arbor, Michigan, United States
Born and raised in Santiago of Chile. Mona grew up surrounded by coloring books, paper, and crayons. Won her first drawing contest at the age of 5. She took her first photo at the age of ten with her mother's compact Kodak camera. Things got more interesting eventually and she grabbed her webcam and started taking pictures of things. Then her parents gave her a real camera, then she couldn't stop shooting.
In her own words: "It all started "in denial". I told myself that I couldn't love photography because it was an expensive hobby, but then I realized it was a lifestyle, more than just a hobby. Now I don't know what I'd do without being able to capture these pieces of time."
Currently, she lives in Ann Arbor, Michigan and works on multiple activities like painting, photography, drawing, and learning languages.
