Dr. Mona Mofid

Mona Zohdi Mofid is a San Diego-based dermatologist, author, and medical researcher, renowned as the Medical Director of the American Melanoma Foundation. She was also Clinical Director of Johns Hopkins' Dermatology Department and the youngest president of the Maryland Dermatological Society. Awarded Castle Connolly's Top Doctor for seven consecutive years, Mona Mofid co-authored the children’s book "Franny and Freddy Get Fried." A diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology and a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, she practices with the Sharp Community Medical Group. An avid philanthropist, she serves the American Melanoma Foundation and supports charitable causes.
