Marieliz Monclova

Marieliz Monclova is a Certified Holistic Health Coach and loving mother of three children. Marieliz was born in Puerto Rico and relocated to Newark, New Jersey as a seven-year-old child. She obtained a bachelors degree in psychology from Montclair State University and earned her certification in Holistic Health from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. Marieliz is founder of the North Newark Urban Garden, serves as a member of the Newark Community Garden Coalition, is the president of the Parent Teacher Association at her son's school, and is co-creator and editor of the Homerun News Newsletter. While working with various organizations and groups, Marieliz offers personalized coaching services, group sessions and workshops. She is committed to attack the urgent crisis of obesity, diabetes, cancer and cardiovascular disease. Her message to everyone is that we should not use junkfood to reward our children. She provides useful tips that anyone can use to achieve a better healthier and happier lifestyles.
