Monica Tiga

Born and raised in West Texas to an Oilfield worker, I grew up in an El Paso Natural Gas camp until my father was transfered a little farther north. I had/have an amazing family. Hardworking, hispanic-american oilfield man who would have done anything for his family, a creative, loud, and super friendly and nice white Texan lady and one super intelligent and comical younger sister.

Some days I suffer from and most days I embrace Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Ultra Ultra Rapid Cycling Bipolar I Disorder with traits of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Insomnia, and mild depression. I have been in recovery from all drugs and alcohol since April 7, 2015. I am an active member of two 12 Step Programs, and I sponsor women through one of those programs.

I am a full time college student, graduating in May 2015 with my associates degree in Liberal Arts. In the fall I will be attending a university to pursue my bachelors degree in Social Work. I plan to obtain my Masters degree at the same school, and then move somewhere I will be able to practice my career without knowing most if not all of my clients on a personal and unprofessional manner (previously).

I have two dogs, two cats, two turtles, two Bettas, and three finches. Sometime soon I will be getting a fourth finch.

And that, ladies and gents, is all of me.
