After completing the StrengthsQuest activity I believe that my most important strength is "Achiever." To me, this means I have a natural drive to get work done and I feel best when I can check items off a to do list. This strength has helped me in my life because it leads me to work hard and get work done in my academic and social life. I work hard to get good grades, make others happy, and make myself happy.
Through the "Relieving Stress through Breath" success series I learned many things that will be helpful not only this year, but for the rest of my life. We learned several potential sources of stress, ways stress affects our health, and ways to relieve stress. The most useful assignment we completed in EHE 1100 was the Curriculum Plan activities. By creating our academic plan for the next three semesters I able to see what classes I need to take in order to get into my major. This activity was not only helpful because it helped me organize my classes but it relieved a lot of stress about my future. I learned how to organize my class schedules to best fit my habits. This skill will come in handy when I am scheduling classes for the rest of my career at OSU. The activity was also helpful because I learned about the scheduling process.
