Quality Engineer in Michigan

"To the optimist, the glass is half full;

To the pessimist, the glass is half empty;

To the engineer...

The glass is twice as big as it needs to be!"

This is a great joke and describes engineering and myself well. I love to organize and plan so as to arrive at an optimal outcome. You can learn from mistakes and feedback, then improve.

Another way to end the joke could be for the engineer to fill the cup with more water. Why not use the cup efficiently?

I enjoy continuing to learn and I hope that in gathering more engineering experience, I will improve my ability to contribute to any industry or project. Topics that I am interested in and hope to learn more about are Systems Design, Project Management, Production and Manufacturing, and Quality Assurance.

I am an alumna of the Michigan Marching Band (tenor saxophone), The University of Michigan, and the Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI).

I do well in positions that favor attention to detail, involve team problem solving, and creating order out of chaos.
