Monica Redmond

Monica Redmond is a Michigan-based visual artist. Ms. Redmond is the Resident Visual Illustrator for the Flint STEAM Society, a Performance Art Collective, based in Flint, Michigan.

Her work has been published in Trend45 Magazine, and her work was recently displayed live on air for ABC12’s Good Morning Mid-Michigan.

4 of her works are currently on display in the African-American Artists of Michigan - All Media Exhibition at the Greater Flint Arts Council, and she was the first artist selected to be interviewed for the Flint Artist Tour Series.

She specializes in larger than life portraits, rendered by hand in stunning detail. Her preferred medium is charcoal powder.
