Who I am:

Chicago explorer, vegan, volunteer, new parent, lover of travel and exploration, cultural and political observer and occasional technology shop talker.

In this ever-evolving digital world I live by the above quote. Change is exciting, with the caveat that it's not always brand new and a breakthrough, but often an evolution. Over the past 20 years I have solved exciting client challenges by first understanding their business and current customers and then identifying and executing opportunities. In some cases those opportunities took a chance and were tested to validate how they may do, and then observed and adjusted. Coming up with an idea based on a thorough understanding of all aspects of a client, creating and then validating and evolving it is what I love to do.

To get to the opportunities I've employed stakeholder and user interviews, competitive research, business requirements definition, user experience design for desktop and mobile ecommerce and other types of Web sites and associated applications. I've done these activities as part of Product Management, Project Management, Business Strategy and User Experience roles.

I've worked with a variety of clients across the retail, financial, insurance and Consumer Packaged Goods verticals.
