I graduated from Wheaton College in December 2014 with a degree in economics and experience in journalism. I hope to combine my ability to analyze data and research with my passion for writing in a full-time position. Currently, I am a freelance reporter who has been published on FiveThirtyEight.com and USA Today College. In the summer of 2014, I was an editorial intern at The Chronicle of Higher Education in Washington, D.C., where I wrote for the students section. I mostly covered news about campus sexual assault, but I also wrote about campus crime data and college accessibility.
I began reporting for my local newspaper, the Nashua Telegraph, as a high school columnist. Around the same time, I volunteered at a nursing home writing the "life stories" of its residents. There, I learned how much I love to interview people and write about the fascinating tales they tell me. Since then, my writing has appeared in USAToday.com, OpenSecrets.org, Norton.Patch.com, the Wheaton Quarterly, and the Wheaton Wire.
