Hey there! I’m Monice, a Student studying education at the University of Johannesburg. I major in Afrikaans and ICT. I enjoy singing, acting and I am quite fond of innovation. You might ask yourself, what is a girl who loves singing and acting doing in a field such as ICT, technically it came as a surprise to me as well [just kidding :)]… My enjoyment of ICT began in high school where CAT was one my subjects. I enjoyed the challenging nature of the subject because it always encouraged me to grow and become better. Now also seeing the big role that ICT has begun to play in education, makes me feel honoured to major in this subject. I'm excited to see all the new and innovative ways that ICT can be applied to language subjects such as Afrikaans. In my time studying at UJ I have grown very fond of the field of education. I find it admirable that teachers are the ones that shape other careers!
