Monique Sanders

Monique Magee Sanders is a native of New Orleans, La and graduate of Science in Biological Engineering from Louisiana State University and A&M College. As a current resident of Baton Rouge, LA she is working as a Project Engineer for Syngenta Crop Protection, LLC, and also in pursuit of an MBA at Southern University and A&M. She began her own business in 2009, Exclusive Mindz, LLC, where she promotes events to provide seminars for new entrepreneurs to share ideas and business best practices. She aspires to one day own and operate a facility that’s geared to assisting the educational goals of students in the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) disciplines. Another passion of hers incorporates the teachings of music and dramatic arts, which she practices and teaches in her community during her spare time through an initiative to educate Louisiana youth on childhood obesity preventative practices.

While balancing a career and small business endeavors she believes it is imperative to make time for servicing the less fortunate. She is actively involved in the Junior League of Baton Rouge and Society of Women Engineers as well as other church affiliated mentorship organizations like Daughters of Destiny, LLC. She and her mother host a love project entitled Naomi’s Table which educates Mothers and Daughters on ways to make their relationships stronger.

Goals: My future goals include getting certifications in Project Management to become a Project Management Professional (PMP) and continue to contribute my talents to an outstanding company on a local, national and international level.
