Tomorrow's education is evolving exponentially and it is our job (duty?) as teachers to not only keep up but strive to look ahead at how global 'classrooms' will look and operate in 5, 10 and 20 years time.
Born in Bristol, UK I have been teaching (and learning) for more than 8 years in the UK, Vietnam and currently China. I have a passion for Geography and also the use of technology to support learning both inside and outside of the classroom.
My recent experiences and PD opportunities have led me to strongly believe that collaboration is key to the success of teachers harnessing the education evolution beast. Developing an international, cross-curricular PLN has been extremely beneficial to me, my teaching and ultimately my students as I continue to develop a plethora of skills necessary to engage and inspire 21st century learners.
Outside of school I have a keen interest in playing and watching sports and am an enthusastic runner and cyclist. I love to travel and share my experiences with others and, as my tagline suggests, I simply LOVE all things 'techy'! I have recently become more interested in photography and my #365 photo a day project is my current inspiration, using a different 'theme' (tag) every week.
