Mandie Monsma

Hello, I’m Mandie. I’m a teacher living in Ottawa. My family and I recently bought a fixer-upper farm and are now busy learning all about being homesteaders. I am a fan of travel, animals and coffee (2 children under 3!)

Most of my experience has been with primary/junior students. I spent the last two years as the Learning Support Teacher and worked closely with the ELL students in my school. I have finally secured my first contract position this school year in a Grade 6 classroom.

I am taking this course to gain more knowledge on teaching ELL students and to learn how to successfully support them.
