Raymond McDaniel is currently the President and Chief Executive Officer of Moody’s Corporation. At Moody’s, McDaniel is responsible for Moody’s Investors Service and Moody’s Analytics.
Raymond McDaniel started of at Moody’s in 1987 as an analyst in Asset Secularization. He worked his way up to becoming the President of Moody’s in 2001 and was promoted to Executive Vice President of the company and elected to its board of directors in 2003. He has served as CEO since 2005.
Raymond McDaniel has helped the company accomplish record levels of financial performance as well as new enhancements to Moody’s ratings practices. He works with them in their philanthropy programs, including the Posse Foundation and the Moody's Foundation.
McDaniel has a a J.D. from Emory University School of Law and a B.A. in Political Science from Colgate University.
