Hockey has always been a thing in my family as I'm not a great hockey player or a skater, my method of involvement has been as an off-ice official, starting with recreational and occasional minor league games in 2005. I started in Junior A in 2011 and am now the Head Off-ice Official for the BCHL's Coquitlam Express. I also worked the 2022 Hockey Canada World U-17 Hockey Challenge in Langley and Delta, where I was assigned as the Game Timekeeper for the gold medal game.

Special Olympics athlete since 1997 having attended two National Games (2004, 2014) and one Special Olympics World Summer Games. (2015)
