Mooza Mohd
Youth & Community Worker in Selangor, Malaysia
Hi! I'm Mooza. I have over 7 years experience in this field of practice. My workshops are typically issue-driven, covering a wide range of social context and I use applied drama as a method to engage individuals, communities and organisations that I work with.
I began as a community worker with Reboot the Roots (formerly Fallen Leaves) supporting people recovering from addiction, people with experience of homelessness or statelessness, and those who are socially excluded.
As a drama educator, I have taught in both public and private schools under various commissioned projects:HSBC's Anti-Drug Awareness! School Tour (Social Education); ASTRO's Oh My English! at School (Spoken Literacy); Sime Darby's School Holiday Camp (Child Protection & Sexual Health Education); and Art Fun Day! at the National Visual Arts Gallery (Arts Education).
I received my academic training from Royal Central School of Speech & Drama, University of London specialising in Drama, Applied Theatre & Education. I'm currently pursuing my Masters in Youth Work/Health & Community Development at De Montfort University, UK.
