Prior to joining the John Maxwell Team, I served as chief of staff for the Ohio Academic Resource Network (OARnet), an affiliated entity of The Ohio State University. In this role, I worked closely with colleagues and external stakeholders to balance our role, while supporting the vision, mission and values of both The Ohio State University and the technology infrastructure vision for the University Systems of Ohio. At the university level, I was appointed to serve on the Culture Transformation Steering Committee, set in motion by Senn Delaney’s culture shaping retreats. I also served on the University Staff Advisory Committee, as an advocate for staff and advisor to then-President Gee and senior leadership, recommending solutions.

The transition from my former role to where I am today came on the heels of me honestly assessing my "American Dream." You see, I had followed after goals but my heart was not in it. I had a measure of success but it was empty and I was left wondering what could be if I just stepped out and fully followed my passion. Today, I am blessed to do what I love which is helping others by providing wisdom and guidance through mentoring and advising relationships.
