Casey Dorman

Following along and distinguished career as a research and clinical psychologist, a university professor and dean, and many years of with service in the field of public mental health, I turned to the field of literature. I am the Editor-in-Chief of Lost Coast Review, a quarterly journal of short stories, poetry, book and film review and opinion. I am also the author of the Nyles Monahan mystery series, which includes “I, Carlos” and “Chasing Tales.” I am also the author of “Unquity,” a literary romance novel and the historical thriller, “Prisoner’s Dilemma: The Deadliest Game” and a new series, which begins with the novel, “Appointment in Mykonos: A Brian O’Reilly Cruise Ship Mystery.” Most recently I have authored the satirical political thriller, “Morality: Book One—Where Have All the Young Men Gone?” the first novel in a three-novel series. The second novel in the series, “Morality: Book Two—The Peacemaker,” is in the process of being published.

Now I've begun a new blog, called Morality. The link is at the bottom of this page.

This Morality blog is being published to allow a forum for my own ideas on morality, mostly as it applies to the world of current events and politics. I welcome replies and will seek information that is thought-provoking and serious (or occasionally humorous).
