I am a person. Caring deeply about the outcomes of the things I am working on and the people I’m working with comes automatically to me. Creative collaboration is perhaps my greatest pleasure, and so dedicating myself to my work is also pretty automatic.

I have a broad life experience; from grassroot activist organizing, working as a chef, driving trucks, construction and green building, to running a team of 50 for Adobe at Typekit. I’m interested in travel, literature, tv and movies, science, medicine, civic works, games, food and drink, and process and culture. My specialties are in communication, designing human-centric efficiency, culture and process analysis, architecture and refinement, and bringing warm authenticity into challenging areas.

I am most excited when I have a nice, messy interplay to examine, understand, and improve. This most especially when it is in service to good people working hard on something they care a lot about. It is my view that bringing simplicity and ease into burdensome, difficult, or onerous tasks relieves suffering, and relief from suffering creates tremendous benefit in life and in business.
