About me? The main thing you should know before you continue on, is that it's not. When I stand at the gates of heaven, the word, "Jesus" will be uttered; and that is the very basis for all that matters in this moment and the moments to come. Truly, I am just a beggar who has been found by the Bread of Life; and I desire the same wholeness for everyone else. My purpose is found in feebly attempting to allow God to use me, an empty vessel, as His hands, His feet, His heart; in order to love others well. I stumble, I fall, and He pulls me back up. Each.and.every.time. This blog is a conglamoration of the lessons He is teaching me throughout these numbered and known days here. God has blessed me with a God-fearing, manliest of all men, good-looking man; and along with that, we have two precious, beautiful twin little girls---who happen to have significant special needs. We live in Birmingham, Alabama, attend the Church of Brook Hills, and spend our time attempting to do the things that matter in a culture that continuously pushes otherwise. We fail, and more grace is given. And in all these things, He is more than enough. Oh, and I strongly believe that one could survive on salad dressing, coffee creamer, and peanut butter.
