Groundwater: Basic understanding of surface and groundwater interactions, sub-surface flow processes, subsurface and groundwater instrumental networks, performing and analyzing hydraulic tests, techniques for estimating sub-surface flow parameters, sub-surface and groundwater modelling.
Water Quality: Comprehensive understanding of water chemistry and quality assurance standards, establishment of water quality experimental design and set-up, understanding of environmental regulations and guidelines, understanding of various sampling techniques (e.g. low flow sampling)
Contaminated Land: Comprehensive understanding of soil chemistry and quality assurance standards, understanding of environmental regulations and guidelines, field investigation programs, drilling, test pitting, soil sampling, monitoring well installations, aquifer testing, groundwater and surface water sampling.
