Morgan Post’s recent exhibitions include; The SoHo Photo Gallery, Indiana University, The Kinsey Institute, Utah State University, Utah Arts Alliance Gallery and the School Of Visual Arts Gallery. He was the recipiant of Utah State University’s Graduate Studies Research Grant and SVA’s Silus H Rhodes scholorship in black and white printing. His recent projects include a vast amount of glass plate work with wet plate collodion, albumen, uranium, digital intigration of 19th century printing, experimentation and innovation of lost or rare processes, His facination with chemistry has pushed his traditiional aesthetic of photography into a melding of time, place and concept. He utilizes the means and conventions of 19th century technology to create contrast and tension, which acts to highlight the social ethos of the rapidly evolving 21st.

Post earned an MFA degree from Utah State University and has worked extensively as a fine art and commercial photographer in both Los Angeles and New York. He currently teaches at Long Island University, Brooklyn, The Center for Alternative Photography, International Center For Photography, and Fairfield University.
