Morgan Thurmond

Morgan Thurmond is a Junior undergraduate student at the Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University, majoring in Management. Morgan is very active on campus and serves as chancellor of her business fraternity, Delta Sigma Pi. She also actively participates in Kappa Xi community service fraternity. Each of these activities fosters growth that will serve Morgan well both personally and professionally. Morgan remains dedicated to every commitment she makes both on and off campus. She has had multiple work experiences most relevantly working at Babies R Us for a year and a half, during which she served as Human Resources supervisor for two weeks, interviewed, hired and trained ten applicants. Throughout her time with Babies ‘R Us, Morgan consistently contributed to creating a positive work environment for her coworkers, and bettering customer service as a whole. Morgan will pursue a sales position when she graduates in May 2018, which would allow her to share skills she has gained with others, as she believes proper training leads to the best employees and ultimately the best customer service. She is a hard working and determined individual on both the academic and professional levels.
