I was born in Nuremberg (Germany), studied at the University of Bayreuth (Germany) and the University of Edinburgh (UK), I am currently working as a research assistant and lecturer at at the University Witten/Herdecke (Germany), where I am doing a PhD at the chair of Dirk Baecker on 'form and forms of communication of truth under the conditions of the Internet'. Since 2016, I am also a Visiting Scholar at the FIW - Forum Internationale Wissenschaft at the University of Bonn.

Most of the time I am reading; mostly social theory, philosophy, sociology of science, theory of science, theory of religion, Internet studies stuff, following sociological blogs, some tech blogs, etc. Sometimes I write, too, yet most of my texts go unseen straight into my notebooks. I love, collect, read and annotate books; you can find my collection of physical books here .

You can find my weblog at http://www.sinnsysteme.de where I am blogging about social and cultural theory, critical theory, critical media theory, and podcasting. I am always up for a good discussion. Please also check out my profile on researchgate for more information on my academic work and publications.

I host the podcast project 1968kritik (www.1968kritik.de) - together with Regula Staempfli and Stefan M. Seydel. Also, I host the Twitterradio (www.twitterradio.de). Just in the making, you can soon find out more about the NoRadioShow (noradioshow.noradio.eu). You can find all my podcasts on iTunes or by following the links above.
