Mormon Soprano

Greetings! I am the Mormon Soprano aka "MoSop". I consider myself a typical American woman balancing many hats, including wife / mom / singer / actress / blogger / co-worker / runner / volunteer.

Singing gives my soul wings. I am a classically trained soprano and have performed on the musical theater and opera stage for over 3 decades. I currently perform as a volunteer "musical missionary". I am a devout Mormon. [Member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints] living in Utah, USA.

I love WORDS (Reading them, writing them, jotting little notes on scrap pieces of paper or expounding my comments or ideas in blog posts). My blog MormonSoprano.com was born in November 2007, where I share my faith, my impressions about life and my love for music. It is designed to be a haven from the often frantic, negative atmosphere of the world wide web. It is my desire to create something of beauty, and worth.

On my YouTube account I share original "MoSop Movies" with uplifting music and positive messages.

My family is my everything. I have been joyfully married for over 24 years. Mr. MoSop and I are the parents of two beautiful children. I love people, places, learning something new every day... and let's not forget the chocolate!
