Morpheus Art Studio

Hello and welcome to Morpheus Art Studio. My name is Jussara and I am a Brazilian born visual artist.
For the past few decades, my life has been fullfiled with many and varied professional and life experiences. I graduated in Dentistry in Brazil and soon after that I had a chance to move to Europe, where I lived for 10 years in Portugal. It was at this time that my love for Arts emerged and became stronger than ever. I was blessed with the opportunity to travel and meet folks from many countries such as France, England, Spain, Greece, Andorra, Morroco and of course Portugal. After moving to the United States, I decided to pursue my artistic dream and I took Visual Arts classes at Weber State University, in Utah. I strongly believe that every artwork, as a form of expression, carries a strong mix of the artist's own life skills and experiences, which somehow will remain imprinted on his/her artwork forever. It's a complex subject to be expressed in just a few sentences, but it may explain why my true form of artistic expression relies on the Abstracts. That's when I can put on canvas my true self. I also love Still life, Landscapes, Animals and Florals. Photography is another passion in her life and, again, Abstract Photography is my forte.

My skills also include graphics and web design, and I have a Major in Behavioral Sciences from the New York Institute of Technology. I volunteered time and effort to help the WAPD - World Association for People with Disabilities by providing support for people coping with physical disabilities. I've recently joined the Humane Society of the United States as a volunteer to help them make this a better world for animals living in distress and to help with the fight against illegal puppy mills.
