With more than three decades of business experience, Morrell Neely serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Neely Industries, a retail holding company and consulting services provider. Neely Industries became a prominent American corporation in the early 1990s, when it entered into licensing agreements with Ameritech Cellular, which later became Verizon Wireless. Neely established the first cellular telecommunications stores in Chicago’s financial district. Over time, he opened more than 200 additional outlets, establishing Neely Industries as the United States’ largest cellular dealer. In recognition of his achievements, Ernst & Young nominated Morrell Neely for Entrepreneur of the Year in 1995. Consistently seeking out new markets, Morrell Steve Neely recently became the Chief Executive Officer of SereniTea, a company that distributes tea beverages around the nation, currently enjoying a presence in 1,400 major grocery outlets. SereniTea targets the growing market of health-conscious Americans, offering several varieties of sweetened and unsweetened organic green tea with no calories or carbohydrates. Each pack of SereniTea contains double the amount of antioxidants as traditionally steeped tea. Morrell Neely brings considerable knowledge of branding and market penetration to the SereniTea company, positioning it to claim a large portion of the bottled tea industry. Outside of his professional pursuits, Morrell Steve Neely remains committed to the Chicago community. In the past, he served as the Chairman of the Chicago Coalition for the Homeless’ Board of Directors. Neely also sat on the boards of Northwestern Memorial Hospital and Cinema/Chicago, organization behind the Chicago International Film Festival. Every fall, the festival brings hundreds of films and filmmakers around the world to Chicago for two weeks, allowing individuals to share in the experience and viewpoints of different cultures through the universal language of film.
