My sweet husband Curt was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's Oct 1st 2010 at the age of 46. He has no family history of Alzheimer's, so this was a surprise! But in hindsight there were many signs of this horrid disease as far back as 2006, but back then we certainly were not thinking Alzheimer's! Our lives have forever been changed since that fateful day! But we are thankful for such caring friends and family and a faithful God who continues to direct our steps on this unplanned journey our family is now on!

A little about our family........

I am a wife of 26 years to dear hubby, he was an awesome worship drummer and a public high school teacher before Alzheimer's struck. I a mom to a 20 year old son, sports are his mainstay these days, he played Varsity basketball and Varsity baseball in high school and plays baseball for a D-1 college. And a mom to a hilarious 18 year old daughter, who plays lacrosse in college and is our creative spirit with a fun sense of humor. I am also a follower of Jesus, a public school special ed. teacher, a cook, a laundry hater, and a chocolate lover! I love all the "hats" I wear, and have a passion to serve God in all I do.
