Regardless of which "hat" I am wearing, my intention and aim is to always be genuine, to let my light shine, and to create value.
My name is Morten Duesund, and I am currently focusing on my PhD, whilst doing the projects I am running at work, and being a husband and father. In addition, I am lead singer for the Norwegian rock band Tainted Souls, and working on a solo soul & hymns project.
Juggling so many facets and dimensions of a life may seem difficult, but to me it boils down to this: "what value do I bring to and through each of these facets?"
Focusing on the things that bring value to my surroundings, thus also to myself, limits the load, charges my batteries, and brings me an amazing and profound sense of purpose.
Whether we are leaders, teachers, students, musicians just regular joe´s, we should always try to shine our light, because at any given point in time, that light may be a beacon for someone else.
