After six years at Wonderful Copenhagen CVB as head of marketing I now experience great satisfaction in helping destinations find smart ways to market what they are - not what they think others want them to be.

In these years destinations, which seldom own any of the products they represent, desperately try to take fully advantage of the new consumer economy. They continue to push themselves aimlessly into the communication channels, often in the form of a picturesque tweet, only to realize that it does not carry weight with either the business or the consumer.

Destinations are middlemen trying to find their position at a time when the consumer is actively ignoring such middlemen.

As Strategic Director at Copenhagen based creative agency Anew I team up with the middlemen to help them execute their brand properly other than just putting a logo and tag line on pictorials and graphics.
