Mosaic of Sounds

music

Hello everyone! If you were curious and clicked on this link, allow me to introduce myself.

My name is “A.” and, as you can easily guess, I'm a hugely addicted, overly dedicated, fanatic listener, impassioned music enthusiast.

I've decided to create this Instagram page because I wanted a digital space where I could literally look at the visual aspect of everything I listen to: the album covers.

The expression “Mosaic of Sounds” came to mind when I realized that looking at my page - and therefore at my music collection - was like looking at a real-life mosaic, with all the record covers being its numerous tiles.

I like to believe that what unites these tiles are the diverse nuances shared by the various music genres and styles I hold dear. Moreover, it's the emotions and feelings evoked by the music itself, transcending the boundaries of different genres, that truly tie these pieces together.

Above all, I firmly believe in music as a timeless and universal language. Its ability to convey a message is what truly matters, regardless of its form or style.

From the sweetest, most melodic, warm, friendly and dreamy tunes, to the darkest, most violent, extreme, angry, and relentless sonic atmospheres. From dance-inducing themes and rhythm-devotee earworms, to noisy extravaganzas and eerie soundscapes. From eclectic, deep, layered sonorities and experimental composition techniques, to simple, minimal, catchy refrains and traditional sounds. From thought-provoking and emotion-conveying anthems, to brainless and ignorant bops. Old school and new school, organic and synthetic, with no genre barriers.

To go even deeper, if there's something I look for most when I listen to music, regardless of everything, it's intensity, passion, and energy. That said, I also adore the most chilling, relaxing and "soul-calming" types of music. I'm always in search of sounds that get the dopamine flowing.

I hope you'll like my page and maybe you'll find new music to your liking. Feel free to suggest anything you feel I should check out.

You can follow me on RateYourMusic, which is probably the best place where I discuss, review and obviously rate what I listen to and where I also make my yearly lists.

If you made it this far, thanks for passing by and giving me a little bit of your time!
