I am Dehavilland L. Moss. I have several nick names. De, Big D, The Press, Moss and Drex. It just depends on who greets me.
I have two beautiful daughters, one a teenager and one a preteen. They are the love of my life. I am also married to a beautiful wife.
My professional work career started at the Royal Bahamas Defence Force in 1997. After serving out my contract, I joined ScotiaBank Bahamas Limited, where I served in the IT section for almost 10 years.
I tendered my resignation in 2010, much to the surprise of practically everyone. Since then, I have been a business owner, a paid writer and an operations manager at a local store here in Nassau.
Writing articles is a hobby of mine that I find I can't stop. I have an insatiable need to put pen to paper on the myriad issues that affects the Bahamas. I am not a trained journalist or a trained writer but at some point I hope that my contribution make Bahamians think about their country.
We are so polarized as a nation and cannot see past the political party that we support. I believe in being a Bahamian first and then let the chips fall where they may.
I love the game of basketball and had an opportunity to host a basketball summer camp last year in Johnson Road, the place of my birth. I am proud to be from this area.
I have a blog that has not attracted much attention, but I plan to change this in the near future. See link below.

No one said it was going to be easy, but stickability is the key.
