I am ridiculously passionate about education, and delivering better learning opportunities to kids. I have been teaching for about 10 years in Australia, Spain, and now the UK, and have a BA (English and Psychology), a Post Grad Dip Ed, and a Masters Degree in Education specialising in student motivation. I believe that the current education paradigm could improve significantly if more focus was directed towards learners' needs.

All kids like to learn with encouragement and connection to the guide, and all kids like to learn through action, through experimentation, and by getting involved in knowledge construction. It is in fact the natural method of learning, and how all young children evolve. This is the theory of constructivism, and i espouse it wholeheartedly. My mission is to incorporate this epistemology into teaching, and i believe that i can do it through technology.

However, the most important tool in any teacher's repertoire is connecting with the students, and this can only happen when student voice is honoured and respected.
