El Mostafa Belkhayate is an investment professional and commodity expert with more than 20 years experience in the finance and banking industries. Mr Belkhayate has acquired substantial experience in private portfolio management with focus in commodities. He has also gained an in depth knowledge in the gold market over his career, having involved in the establishment and management of the first Moroccan/African commodity fund during his time at capital Med SA a subsidiary of the ‘Banque Marocaine du Commerce Exterieur’ (BMCE).

He also undertook research and development of algorithm commodity trading systems, researched risk management on futures markets and completed a money management case study on the oil market. He took on the role of Head Trader at the Windhorst Group in Frankfurt where he worked on the creation, management and development of their trading activities on commodities.

In 2005 Mr. Belkhayate started a Canadian private investment fund investing in gold market by purchasing directly from gold mine. The fund had over 1.3 billion under management. In 2006, the fund was ranked by Bloomberg #1 among a broad range of commodity funds.

Mr Belkhayate acts as advisor for central banks and financial institutions offering his expertise in gold.

He is a regular speaker at conferences and on CNBC, Bloomberg and Swiss TV and has been awarded 3 times the title of best technical and financial analyst ( Gold Trophee 2009, Silver Trophee 2010 & 2012).
