Mostofa Zaman earned his first degree on Development Studies and International Relations from London Metropolitan University, United Kingdom.

He got involved with Clinton Global Initiative University - CGI U since its inception. He was invited for three consecuative years from 2008 to attend the annual meeting of Clinton Global Initiative University. He was selected as a Campus Rep of CGI U at London Metropolitan University in United Kingdom for a full academic year.

He has also been an active member of Clinton Foundation's Millennium Network - its first international event in London where he personally met President Bill Clinton on 30 October 2009.

He has been an active advocate of social business as pioneered by Muhammad Yunus, 2006 Nobel peace laureate. He worked as project director of Yunus Forum - a platform for the youth to network around social business. The main activities of Yunus Forum was to work with the student unions/clubs in various universities in the UK including London Met, University of East London, Cambridge, LSE to promote the social business idea by hosting events, forming book clubs etc.

While studying at London Met, he by invitation delivered a 30 minutes lecture on grass-roots economy of Bangladesh to around 80 first-year students at University of East London, UK.

He was a young research fellow awarded by the family foundation of a former deputy editor of The Economist. With this capacity, he helped facilitate in organising a dinner party hosted by the Embassy of Japan in Dhaka at which Sir Fazle Hasan Abed, Founder of BRAC, was a guest discussant.

He had have exposures of an internship with the secretariat of South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation in Kathmandu Nepal on how to alleviate poverty from the South Asia.

He has been networking on how to create a distinctive mooc provider hosted by a university from the Middle East. Besides, he has been working to promote a global dream project of literacy in Bangladeh, South Africa and India.

He has founded an organisation that incubates the youth of the world to harness the cross-cultural harmony as well as engaging them in addressing the global devveloping issues that matter for their productive future.
