Emmanuel Motloung
Student, Teacher, and Small Business Owner in Johannesburg
My name is Emmanuel Motloung, and not only am I a student at the University of Johannesburg, but I am also a part-time teacher (tutoring). Right there, you have guessed it. I am a student-teacher who is passionate about changing the world simply by guiding children and showing them the real meaning and beauty of science. I am majoring in Physical Sciences and mathematics. It is such an adventure to explore science learning here in Johannesburg. I believe in science because there are infinite exciting things that are discovered and learned almost every day. I am also interested in technology because it contributes more to science, and being exposed to technologies in the field of science is like magic. I like listening to music, but what I like to do is explore plants and find their meaning. Right there in the profile picture, the flower you are seeing is called the Bird of Paradise (Strelitzia), which is native to South Africa and symbolizes joyfulness, paradise, freedom, anticipation, and excitement. I often see the good in people and believe they have more potential. It is for this reason that I like to expose and challenge my learners a lot so that they can learn more than they hoped.
