Involved in licensed magazines and hard-cover book publishing business, also launched the first part-work publication in Japan. In 1994, launched “WIRED Japan,” the localized version of WIRED, and became its business director.
1998-2009 Infobahn, Inc.
Co-founded the digital communication agency called “Infobahn” and became the Co-CEO. Infobahn expanded its business opportunities in content marketing solution; such as planning/consulting/producing of owned, earned, and paid media.
2008 - Mediagene, Inc.
Based on experiences of media business, Motoko founded the digital media company called “Mediagene” and became CEO. Mediagene runs blog media such as: “GIZMODO Japan,” “lifehacker ” and “kotaku Japan”, and runs female lifestyle media such as “cafeglobe”, “MYLOHAS” and “glitty”. Those are popular and rapidly-growing online publication.
