I was born and raised in Ajax in Ontario, Canada. From a very young age I had three major passions: music, teaching and birds. As I have grown and changed as a person, these three loves have remained strong influences in my life. It was during my childhood when I first picked up the clarinet and ten years later I am still thoroughly in love. I enjoy performing and exploring the lesser known repertoire of the instrument through solos and duets. When the time came to choosing what I wanted to study in university, the choice was pretty obvious. I also wanted to study French to grow my skills while exploring that side of my family's background. Throughout my four years at Laurentian I have been exploring my passions and expanding my knowledge and skills to new heights. That doesn't mean I have completely left behind my love of birds as my faithful companion Mendel is there at home teaching me patience and compassion through his many 3am concerts. As the years pass, I continue to grow and develop as a person but these three core aspects remain the same, acting as the foundation of my personality and soul.
