As owner of a private dermatology practice in Toledo, Ohio, Dr. Mounir Boutros treats skin conditions ranging from warts and moles to melanomas. He builds on more than 15 years in practice, during which time he has served families across northwestern Ohio, After practicing as a psychiatrist in central and southern Ohio for 8 years.Dr. Mounir Boutros stands out as a rare physician with dual board certification in psychiatry and dermatology, both of which he studied as a resident at The Ohio State University.

Dr. Mounir Boutros earned his professional diploma from the Damascus University School of Medicine in Syria before immigrating to the United States in 1986. He built experience as a first- year internal medicine resident at Trenton Affiliated Hospitals in NJ, then transitioned into psychiatry as a second-year resident ,and finishing as a chief resident in 1993 with The Ohio State University. After completing this residency, he served the university as a clinical assistant professor of psychiatry for five years.

Dr. Mounir Boutros remained with the university as he began his second residency in dermatology in 1997. Named chief resident of the class of 2000, he has lectured in this specialty at a number of hospitals, community centers,pharmaceutical meetings,and before gatherings of The Ohio Dermatological Association.
