John Schamber

John was honored to receive the Aloha ‘Aina Realtors’ Choice Award for 2005. The Aloha ‘Aina Realtor Awards Program is sponsored by First Hawaiian Bank, The Honolulu Board of Realtors, and the Honolulu Advertiser. John and 4 others who received the Realtor’s Choice Award were selected from a field of 451 nominees. John graduated from Hamline University in St. Paul, Minnesota with a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology. He worked as an archeologist for four years before returning to Hawaii to manage his mother’s (Sharon J. Schamber, R CRS GRI) real estate office in Honolulu. He earned his real estate license in 1989 and in 1996 he and Sharon joined Carvill & Co., LLC . Sharon continues in real estate now as John’s assistant. Together they are your “2 for 1” team of Certified Residential Specialists. John holds the Certified Residential Specialists, designation. Only 6% of Realtors nationwide have earned this designation. It signifies proven sales experience and continuing education course work. Consistently a top producer, he attributes his success to the loyalty of his clients, the wise counsel of the Carvill & Co., LLC associates, and to his commitment to personal service, technological expertise, and continuing education. In his spare time John is an avid gardener. He willingly shares his knowledge and plant sources with clients and friends. He has driven an old blue Toyota truck for years! John has a dachshund named “Belle” and a poi terrier named “Margaret”.
