I am an animal welfare monitor with MAP (Movie Animals Protected). I have many years of experience monitoring animal action in the film and TV industry.
I am a lifelong animal person who started riding horses at age 8 and began working with exotic animals at age 17. Upon graduation from the Moorpark Exotic Animal Training and Management Program, I worked for a variety of studio training companies and other animal facilities before beginning my career keeping animals safe and happy in the entertainment industry. I've kept animals safe on hundreds of film sets including: Russell Mania, Alexander and the Terrible Horrible No Good Very Bad Day, Sex Tape, Veronica Mars, Star Trek: Into Darkness, Oz: The Great and Powerful, Gangster Squad, Django Unchained, Seeking a Friend For the End of the World,, The Amazing Spider-Man, Magic Mike, Three Stooges, Casa de Mi Padre, Project X, Safe House, The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, The Artist, We Bought a Zoo, Jack and Jill, Thor, Cowboys and Aliens, Friends With Benefits, Super 8, Bridesmaids, No Strings Attached, Little Fockers, Iron Man 2, Shutter Island, Avatar, Funny People, Angels and Demons, Drag Me to Hell, I Love You Man, Fast & Furious, Bedtime Stories, and Beverly Hills Chihuahua. Most recently I monitored animals in Home Depot, Facebook, and Toyota commercials.
In my spare time I am often volunteering with a local equestrian charity, tending to my vegetable garden, or riding my horse Anna through hundreds of miles of trails north of Los Angeles.
