1. Strengths- Competition- I feel my strength of competition is by far my most important strength and will help me achieve my goals in the future. When most people think of competition they may immediately think of sports teams competing against one another. I feel competition goes way beyond sports, and relates at a much more personal level. I feel the endless competition against myself will be what motivates me to be great. Competing against myself and the world around me to make myself better is what motivates me everyday. If I can motivate myself to be a better academically, socially, and personally everyday I will have no regrets. I will be able to make the most out of my life, build strong relationships, and succeed in my chosen career. Therefore, by competing against myself to get better, I will meet many great people and live a very happy lifestyle.

2. Dream Job- Out of all the assignments we did in survey class I feel this was the most beneficially to me personally. For this assignment, I had to do some research on what my dream job would look like. I was an education major to begin this year, and after doing this assignment I realized that education was not what I am truly passionate about. After doing some research on potential dream jobs and really taking time to think about what I love doing I decided to switch my major to sports industry. All of the dream jobs that I wanted had to do with a sports related field. This assignment really helped me focus on what my true passion in life is and motivated me to take action and switch my major in order to achieve my goal.

3. Lessons From a First Year Buckeye- For this assignment we had to write 5 lessons we would give to incoming freshman about what to look out for and how to prepare for their first semester of college. This assignment really helped me look at what I struggled with my first semester of college. By doing this I am now aware of areas that I still need to improve on such as putting in the proper amount of time to focus on school each day. In high school, I rarely had to put anytime out of school to achieve high grades. In college, I have to put in a lot more work studying and doing homework to achieve the grades that I want to get. By writing ideas down about advice I would give to a first year student (such as prioritize your time) it has helped me look at things I still need to improve on in my upcoming years in college.
