Born during a London air raid in 1940. Poorly educated. Left school at 15 and joined RAF at 18. Joined Chubb Safes in 1970 and retired in 2005 as Sales & Marketing Director of Guardian Safes. Received an industry award in '95 for 'outstanding services to security and crime prevention'. Ordained into the Triratna Buddhist Order in 2006 and given the name Bahiya. Currently live in Wells, Somerset with wife, Chrissie but planning to move to Menorca soon.
