I'm a physical therapist by trade and an entrepreneur by passion. I am the founder of two local start-ups. My first, Physio 4 Hire, was a business that I started with a friend to improve the placement of physical therapists throughout Chicago. It is now expanding to serve physical therapists across the country!

I am also founder of Physio Connection. It is a professional social network that hopes to improve engagement and interaction between allied healthcare professionals. The site was launched in January 2012 and is still in the beta (testing) version. In this phase, we hope to gain feedback from some of our early adopters on the need for a site like this and what functions it should serve.

In March of 2012 I became the organizer of the "Chicago Healthcare Professionals" meetup.com group and I and have been a mentor at the Lean Start-up Machine workshop in Chicago.

As a humble student of the tech start-up world, I read tech blogs, start-up and VC news, entrepreneurial magazines, and am doing my best at learning to code, or at least understand it.

While building my companies, I am also continuing to be a practicing physical therapist. As a physical therapist I have experience as a mentor to new graduates, clinical educator, manager, and resume and interview counselor.
